"Our daughter passed away yesterday. I wish it wasn't true. I wish it wasn't her. She died doing what she loved. Heroine."
This was shared by a parent on a face book post today. The reality of this statement is the chore issue: "She died doing what she loved best heroine"
The romance of addiction: The reality of addiction is that the addict has entered into the most toxic relationship, that of falling in love with their drug of choice. Its self sabotage, it destroys those around you. But it remains your lover because it never rejects you as a fellow human. However, it will take you to your death prematurely. Dear addict it is never too late to ask for help. Dear parent there is support for you out there.
Do whatever it takes to get the help you need.
